About

Samantha Ardoin

Hi, my name is Sam. In May 2021, I graduated from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling.

I strive to bring a sense of playfulness, creativity, and reverence to therapy with individuals, couples, and groups. For me, awareness in relationship is the core of psychotherapy. Being able to grow your capacity to stay present with your experiences can allow for change and growth in any area of your life. Having a warm person with whom you feel safe accompanying you on your path can revitalize and ease the process of change.

I am also passionate about offering services beyond therapy, such as Community Groups where people can encounter their own creativity, deepen their emotional experiences, and discover new ways of connecting with one another.

About
01.

I am a Gestalt therapist.

I integrate Attachment Theory,

Developmental Psychology,

Social Justice theories,

contemplative practices, and contemporary trauma theory

I am also EMDR trained.

02.

I use mindfulness-based therapy and EFT (Emotion-focused therapy) strategies to support people to heal and deepen their relationships. Relationship therapy means couples, families, and non-traditional relationship structures.

03.

I am not currently offering any community groups, however I am passionate about finding creative ways to build community and heal together. I have enjoyed leading Grief Groups and Creative Writing Groups, as well as community activism groups ending in a project.
